This summer has provided many challenges and none greater than the extreme wild-fire situation that is on-going throughout the province. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to all those that have been affected by the fires.
One of the great strengths of the ski community in BC/Yukon is that sense of community. If you know of someone that may have been affected by the fires, check in on them to see how they are doing. Let them know that they have some support. It’s that sense of community, looking out for one another, that help us get through these difficult times.
For all those that have been involved in the firefighting efforts, thank you for your courage and dedication.
Looking forward to the snow falling and seeing everyone on the slopes soon.
