What is the Ski-Town Competition?
Which British Columbia/Yukon ski community stands above all the others? The Competition aims to rally people together and help promote snow schools/resorts throughout British Columbia and the Yukon.
One of the strengths of the ski community in British Columbia and the Yukon is that sense of community, so tell us how your snow school, resort and ski community come together to share the passion and spirit of skiing. What makes your resort/snow school special and unique, and why should skiers visit?
Submit a Story to Enter the Competition: To nominate your snow school/resort and compete in the Competition, share your story by providing an answer to each of the following three (3) questions via a video submission.
- Tell us about your ski community’s spirit as well as its passion for skiing. What makes your ski community, snow school/resort unique?
- Tell us about your snow school/resort. Why is it important to you and your ski community?
- Explain how your snow school/resort will invest the $5,000 to upgrade and improve your snow school and/or resort.

Judging: Administrator will manage, monitor, and prepare materials for the Judging Panel and will be judged on the following criteria:
- Depiction of the nominated ski community’s spirit and passion for skiing (20%)
- Description of the snow school/resort’s importance to you and your ski community (20%)
- Description of the need and how the prize money would positively impact the snow school/resort (35%)
Top four (4) submissions will be added to the CSIA BC YouTube channel for public voting. Voting will be open for two (2) weeks, from March 25 to April 7, 2024. Votes are determined by the number of likes each submission receives. Public votes will account for the final 25% of the overall score.
